than 1% of indigenous enterprises.
II. Indigenous Enterprises' Operational States
A total of 16,475 companies are on the list of this project, and 9,011
companies completed the survey interview, yielding a successful response
rate of 54.69%.
1. Most indigenous enterprises are in the wholesale and retail industry
(23.68%); followed by the accommodation and catering industry
(17.47%); construction and engineering industry (17.20%); arts,
entertainment, and recreational service industries (10.40%); other
service industries (8.99%); and manufacturing industry (7.54%).
2. Of all indigenous enterprises, 68.90% engage in product sales,
while 31.10% do not. For the enterprises that sell products, target
markets are mostly made up of the general public or families
(61.15%).
3. The operation of 54.24% of indigenous enterprises involve
wholesale or retail, while the operation of 45.76% do not. Among
the enterprises that engage in wholesale or retail, most (41.35%)
exclusively engage in retail; 11.26% engage in both wholesale and
retail; 1.63% only engage in wholesale and not retail.
4. Of all indigenous enterprises, 19.52% utilize or present elements of
indigenous culture in products or services, while 80.48% do not;
18.74% of indigenous enterprises utilize resources from indigenous
tribal communities in business operations, while 81.26% do not.
5. This project surveyed enterprises on five types of financial
management operations, and the management states of each are as
follows:
