4. Of all indigenous enterprises, 29.39% have the need to apply for an
Indigenous Comprehensive Development Loan Fund. Most
(21.56%) of the enterprises that would like to apply are wholesalers
and retailers; followed by construction and engineering enterprises
(18.81%); and accommodation, food and beverage enterprises
(18.20%)
5. The indigenous enterprises that receive grants from the subsidy
programs of the central or local governments make up 4.31%.
Among them, 0.97% are participants of the Startup Guidance and
Refinement Program, 0.41% are participants of the Innovation and
R&D Subsidy Program, and 0.33% are participants of the
Indigenous Film, Music, Cultural and Creative Industries
Promotion Subsidy Program.
VI. Statuses of Indigenous Enterprises' Operations in
Overseas Markets
1. Of all indigenous enterprises, 4.57% have participated in
international or overseas exhibitions, while 95.43% have not.
Enterprises that expressed willingness to participate in international
or overseas exhibitions in the future represent 16.19%, and 83.81%
have no intention to participate in them.
2. A total of 205 enterprises operated in overseas markets before (and
in) 2019. Among them, 115 enterprises exited from overseas
markets in 2020, while 90 enterprises continued to operate. Among
the enterprises that had not operated in overseas markets before
(and in) 2019, 25 entered overseas markets in 2020. The overall
numbers of market exits and new entrants indicate a decline in the
operations of indigenous enterprise in overseas markets.
3. Among the indigenous enterprises that operated in overseas
markets in 2020, 72.17% encountered difficulties. Different issues
