Compared to the general public, 51.87% of the general public are over
45 years old, which is higher than the 40.71% of indigenous people.
6. Educational attainment: In 2019, indigenous people aged 15 years or
older had the highest rate of educational attainment at the high school
(vocational) level, at 41.18%; this was followed by university and
above, at 19.57%; national (junior) secondary school, at 16.94%;
primary school and below, at 15.37%; and technical school, at just
6.93%. Compared to the general public, the percentage of indigenous
high school (vocational) and below is higher than the general public,
while the percentage of technical and above is lower than the general
public.
7. Marital status: In 2019, 46.76% of indigenous people over the age of
15 had a spouse, 39.00% were unmarried, and 14.24% were divorced,
separated, or widowed. Compared to the general public, indigenous
people are 4.74 percentage points more likely to be unmarried and 3.53
percentage points less likely to have a spouse than the general public.
8. Household contribution: 60.67% of indigenous people aged 15 or
older in 2019 had household responsibility (including 31.68% as
primary household responsibility and 28.99% as secondary
(supplementary) household responsibility), compared to 39.33% who
did not have household responsibility.
