over 45 years old, which was higher than the 43.72% among
indigenous people.
5. Educational attainment: In 2024, senior high school level of
education (senior high school, vocational high school) was the
highest educational attainment for the majority of indigenous
people aged 15 or older, accounting for 41.24%. This was
followed by university and higher education, at 23.10%; junior
high school, at 15.55%; primary school and below, at 14.25%; and
junior college, at just 5.86%. In comparison, the percentage of
indigenous people who have completed senior high school level
of education (senior high school, vocational high school) and
lower education levels was higher than that of the entire
population, while indigenous people with junior college and
higher educational attainment represented a lower percentage than
that of the entire population.
6. Marital status: In 2024, 46.04% of indigenous people over the age
of 15 had a spouse, 39.88% were unmarried, and 14.08% were
divorced, separated, or widowed. Compared with the entire
population, indigenous people are 5.89 percentage points more
likely to be unmarried and 3.29 percentage points less likely to
have a spouse.
7. Household contribution: In 2024, 55.86% of indigenous people
aged 15 and above were responsible for household livelihood, of
which 29.31% took primary responsibility, and 26.55% took
secondary (supplementary) responsibility. On the other hand,
