1. Number of weeks unemployed: Indigenous unemployed persons
were unemployed for an average of 16.61 data-standard weeks.
2. Job-seeking channels for the unemployed: Of all job-seeking
channels used by indigenous unemployed people in 2024,
"applying through civil job banks (including online websites)"
represented the highest percentage (47.08%); this was followed
by “seeking introductions through relatives, friends, or mentors"
(42.28%), "self-referral and inquiry" (16.94%), and "applying
through the Public Employment Service Institution (including
online)" (13.32%).
3. Employment opportunities: 38.46% of unemployed indigenous
people in 2024 encountered a job opportunity during their job
search. Among the reasons for not accepting a job after receiving
an offer, "compensation not in line with expectations" was the
most important (34.81), followed by "remote location or long
commute" (29.90), "unsuitable working hours" (23.73), "different
personal interests" (11.36).
4. Major difficulties encountered in finding a job: In 2024, 61.54%
of unemployed indigenous people did not encounter any
employment opportunities when looking for a job. Further
analyzing the difficulties encountered in finding employment,
"unable to find the type of employment desired" was the most
important (59.53%), followed by "had an interview but was not
hired" (19.02%), and "unable to get an interview opportunity or
failed the written test" (17.15%).
