force. The main reasons for not participating in the labor force were "old

                   age or physical or mental disabilities" (30.47%) and "studies or preparing

                   for further education" (27.92%), followed by "household duties" (26.99%),


                   "injury  or  poor  health"  (9.86%),  and  "want  to  work  and  ready  to  start

                   working at any time but not actively seeking employment" (0.84%).



                   VI. Re-employment



                         In 2024, 12.28% of indigenous people left their employment for a

                   period  of  time  due  to  various  factors,  including  marriage,  childbirth,


                   household duties, caring for family members, injury, and retirement, before

                   becoming re-employed. The average time out of employment was 3.93

                   years.



                   VII. Enrollment in Labor Insurance



                         The  participation  of  indigenous  workers  in  labor  insurance  was  a

                   major  issue  in  June  2024.  Excluding  public  servants,  soldiers,  farmers

                   (who  were  not  engaged  in  any  other  work  during  this  period),  and


                   employers  who  were  not  actually  engaged  in  any  work, the number of

                   indigenous  workers  who  were  obliged  (eligible)  to  participate  in  labor

                   insurance in June 2024 was 216,439. Among them, 83.47% participated in


                   labor insurance, while the remaining 16.53% either participated in farmers'

                   insurance,  national  pension  insurance,  or  did  not  participate  in  any

                   insurance.
